Last night for dinner I made my family Meatball Panini Sandwiches and they were a big hit with everybody. I made a simple turkey meatball recipe (make your meatballs about the size of an icecream scoop), baked them and let them cool, they are easier to slice that way. Then I put a little bit of butter on sliced sourdough bread, you can use any spaghetti sauce (I used Hunts Traditional), and Mozzarella Cheese. I don't have a panini maker, so I used my George Foreman Grill and it worked GREAT!
I served these with steamed broccoli.
I have enough leftover meatballs for another dinner!
Also, any meatball recipe will work.
